Healthy Homes

The Van Wert County General Health District works with the Ohio Department of Health to assist families with children with lead levels.  Our staff provides information on clean-up and potential sources of lead, products and equipment to help with clean-up, and counseling.

The Van Wert County General Health District also provides information on mold clean-up and other household hazards such as Radon.  The health department does not provide mold, radon, or air testing.
