If you need to report a public health emergency or Class A reportable disease after hours, please contact the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department at 419-238-3866 and they will contact the health department personnel on call.  If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911.  If you need to report a public health risk, problem, environmental hazard, or reportable infectious disease, please call 419-238-0808 and follow the prompts to leave a message for the appropriate person.
