Board of Health

The Board of Health is our governing body under Ohio Law. The Board of Health employs the members of the health department, determines their duties and fixes their salaries.

The Board of Health enacts formal policies following the law as stated in the Ohio Revised Code.

Business meetings of the Board of Health are held monthly. The meetings are usually held the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Health Department. The meetings are open to the public.

(There are no meetings during the months of July and August.)
