Immunizing children on schedule is the best protection against dangerous diseases. Along with regular checkups at the doctor’s office or health clinic, immunizations are the best way to keep all children and adults healthy. Don’t Delay … Vaccinate Today!

The Van Wert County General Health District offers seasonal influenza vaccine during normal clinic hours by appointment only. Flu viruses vary from year to year, and the flu vaccine addresses these changes. To be protected, you must be immunized every year.

To prevent food borne illness and protect public health, it is required to license and inspect all Food Service Operations (FSOs) and Retail Food Establishments (RFEs) including restaurants, grocery stores, food booths at the fair, carry-outs, and vending locations.
